Day 1 – Airport → Pinnawala → Sigiriya

  • Your driver will warmly welcome you at the airport, Negombo, or Colombo.
  • Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can watch elephants bathing and feeding along the riverbanks.
  • Continue to Sigiriya and climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its ancient frescoes and spectacular views.
  • Dinner & Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 2 – Sigiriya → Dambulla → Matale → Kandy

  • After breakfast, visit the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple, home to centuries-old murals and over 150 Buddha statues.
  • Continue to Matale, where you’ll explore a spice garden and learn about local herbs and spices.
  • Arrive in Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural capital, and enjoy an evening Cultural Dance Show, followed by a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa).

Day 3 – Kandy → Peradeniya → Nuwara Eliya (Hill Country)

  • Start the day with a stop at the Kandy View Point for a panoramic city view. , followed by shopping for gems, batik, and wood carvings.

  • Then visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden, one of Asia’s most beautiful gardens with thousands of plant species.

  • Drive through the lush tea country to Nuwara Eliya, visiting Ramboda Waterfall, tea plantations, and a tea factory en route.
    End the day with a peaceful walk around Gregory Lake.

Day 4 – Nuwara Eliya → Ella (Scenic Train Ride)

  • After breakfast, enjoy the breathtaking train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella, one of the world’s most scenic train rides.
  • Upon arrival, visit the Nine Arches Bridge and take a light hike to Little Adam’s Peak for stunning mountain views.

Day 5 – Ella → Yala National Park (Wildlife Safari)

  • After breakfast, visit Ravana Falls and Buduruwagala Buddha Statues, then continue to Tissamaharama, the gateway to Yala.
  • In the afternoon, embark on an exciting jeep safari in Yala National Park, home to leopards, elephants, and a wide variety of birdlife.

Day 6 – Yala – Southern Coast – Colombo / Airport

  • After breakfast, travel along Sri Lanka’s picturesque southern coastline.
  • You can stop to explore the Galle Dutch Fort or relax at a nearby beach before returning to Colombo, Negombo, or the Airport for departure.
